Application of Gas Sensors in Tobacco Modified Atmosphere
Background:
China is a big tobacco-producing country as well as a tobacco-consuming country. In 2004, the country planned to purchase 30 million tan of tobacco leaves, and the actual annual purchase of tobacco leaves is estimated to reach 40 million tan. After the tobacco leaves are harvested and roasted, in order to remove the green and miscellaneous taste of tobacco leaves and reduce irritation. Improve the aroma quality, etc., reconcile chemical components, improve the flammability and taste quality of tobacco leaves. Flue-cured tobacco must be aged or fermented in storage before it can be used to produce cigarettes. Gas sensors are required for production preservation.
Application of gas sensor:
At present, domestic tobacco control methods include chemical control method, physical control method and biological control method. Chemical methods include phosphine fumigation and spraying of protective agents. Physical control methods include vacuum method and so on. Biological control methods include spraying juvenile hormones and other methods. Among all these pest control methods, phosphine fumigation is the most commonly used and most effective method for killing pests. The principle of phosphine fumigation is to slowly mix water with aluminum phosphide. Aluminum phosphide undergoes a hydrolysis reaction to release the pesticide phosphine. And then through the pipeline or natural diffusion and contact with tobacco leaves, to achieve the purpose of killing insect pests.
Portable PH3 gas detector are used in gas storage leakage monitoring, drug factory, food factory, hospital gas disinfection residue detection, electrostatic precipitator, gas generator, air purifier, gas leakage, indoor air gas detection scene.
